Supporting our employee’s philanthropic activity and giving back to our local communities is central to the community pillar of our corporate social responsibility strategy. In the UK, our areas of focus include financial education initiatives, including KickStart Money, and employee volunteering with organisations that include Community Links and RedSTART. We also invest in making the city of London better for all by supporting the Lord Mayor’s Appeal Charity.
Giving back to the communities most in need is an essential part of our strategy and it is important that we invest in education to help develop the future leaders of tomorrow. From grants and philanthropic programmes sponsored by the Janus Henderson Foundation to grass-roots volunteerism spearheaded by employees, Janus Henderson has – and continues to – make a significant impact in the U.S. by investing in organisations like the Denver Public Schools Foundation, Young Americans Center for Financial Education and Camp Boggy Creek.
Janus Henderson seeks to give back in ways that are reflective of our employee’s passions, both locally and across the world. To accomplish this, we invest in regional programmes that support the communities where we live and work, such as Angkor Hospital for Children, Bear Cottage and Cure Cancer Australia.
